Motion Compensation and Varjo
Trying to make it work
Following this guide. Helping Jeff debug it.
- Witmotion Sensor Installation
2. Connecting sensor to the computer
COM18 is the Witmotion sensor. For completeness, COM16 is the Intellibox I think.
3. SteamVR — installed and functional. However, and this might be a factor, the Varjo Base software is the one that launches SteamVR I think.
4. SRS Motion Compensation
5. Bulls Eye re-calibrated
6. Seated height and actuator travel
7. SteamVR Addons And overlays
Keep in mind you launch SteamVR from the Varjo Base software
And you get this, more or less…
Make sure Add-ons and Overlays are all “On”
All good, controller one active as well to start OVRMC
Followed the guide to setup ovrmc. I got the tracker centered. things appeared they were going well.
However, Problems start
At some point, I got this.
Then I rebooted (one of many times) and I was able to run AMS2. However, after enabling MC I got terrible flickering on the screen.
Disabling MC did not help much.
As a matter of fact, I am now trying to undo everything to see if the HMD would work again (without any MC)
So, not really working for now (at least for me)
