Thank you! Excellent comments. The bike is not as fast as other recumbents that are built for speed (e.g. Zockra). However, what I was impressed about was the rolling efficiency (low resistance). Maybe the tires I put in it helped. Not sure. Once again, thanks much, I will go check the gear calculator and see how to change things around.
